VENICE, Fla. (August 10, 2021) – Join Center For Sight in celebration of their newly renovated office at 1236 Jacaranda Blvd. in Venice from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 14. President of US Eye and Center For Sight, Kinga Huse, will kick off the event with a ribbon cutting. The event is free to the public and will feature a swag-filled gift bag for the first 200 attendees.
This family-friendly event will have something for everyone including a meet and greet with Patrick Moraz – former keyboardist for YES and The Moody Blues, face painting by Akiko Graphics, catered lunch from Orange Blossom Catering and music from DJ Joey D. Husband and wife optometric physician duo, Joseph Sowka, O.D., F.A.A.O., Diplomate and Lori Vollmer, O.D., M.S., F.A.A.O., are the lead optometrists in the space and will be in attendance to mingle with current and future patients. Due to their expertise and quality of care, they were both named to the 2021 “America’s Best Eye Doctors” list by Newsweek magazine.
“We are so happy to be able to provide the best possible eye care to the Venice community in a beautiful, up-to-date space,” said Vollmer. “It means a lot when patients come in for their appointment and have a comfortable experience.”
The refurbished space will be open to the public to explore. Inside the building, free vision screenings will be offered by Center For Sight staff. Free skin checks will be provided by Shannon Bednarz, PA-C, the certified physician assistant at Center For Sight’s affiliate practice, AMARA Aesthetic Surgery and Dermatology, in Venice. There will be booths set-up around the property featuring representatives from Maui Jim, Ray-Ban, Tom Ford and SLR Health Solutions. Center For Sight’s optical department will be offering 30% off frame and lens packages for one day only.
Over $3,000 worth of raffle prizes will be up for grabs. All proceeds from raffle tickets sold will benefit the Center For Sight Foundation, whose mission is to is to see beyond the financial circumstances of those in need and to deliver sight saving cataract surgery so that no one suffers visual loss due to a surgically treatable condition.
