SARASOTA, Fla. (June 2, 2021) – Center For Sight is pleased to announce Dr. Logan Page has joined the practice as an optometric physician at the Siesta Drive office. Page has provided eye care to patients in Northwest Arkansas for the last three years. He is dedicated to patients, but also his community, as he has volunteered for numerous eye-related organizations.
“Our relationship with Dr. Page began when he joined Center For Sight as an optometric intern. Even at that early point in his career, it was clear he would become an outstanding eye care provider. We are proud to welcome Dr. Page back to Center For Sight as an optometric physician, where he can utilize his expertise to provide exceptional care to our patients,” said David Shoemaker, M.D., founder and director of cataract and lens replacement surgery at Center For Sight.
Dr. Page earned his Doctor of Optometry Degree (O.D.) from the University of Missouri-St. Louis, where he received the Terry Ingraham Diversity Scholarship two years in a row along with the William R. Jackson Jr. O.D. Scholarship in 2015. While in graduate school, he served as an optometric intern under James Lenhart, O.D. at Center For Sight in 2017.
Page is currently a member of numerous industry organizations, including the American Optometric Association, Society for the Advancement of Independent Optometry and Fellowship of Christian Optometrists, and more. While in graduate school, Page served as president and vice president of the Missouri Optometric Student Association.
In his spare time, Page has served as a member of the Arkansas and American Optometric Associations, promoting eye care and optometrists in the healthcare community both locally and nationally. He has volunteered for the Brandon Burlsworth Foundation’s Eyes of a Champion event, which provides vision exams and glasses to children from uninsured, low to moderate income families in Arkansas. As a Lions Club International eye care provider, he provides eye care services to those in need.
“I am dedicated to making patient care and relationship building my highest priority,” Page said. “I love getting to know my patients and their families, to be able to provide high quality care that they want to share with their peers. My goal is to provide the personalized, compassionate service for which Center For Sight is known and make a positive impact in the community.”
Dr. Page is accepting new patients at the Siesta Drive location of Center For Sight (1800 S. Siesta Drive, Sarasota, Florida 34239). To schedule an appointment, visit www.CenterForSight.net.
